Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Digital Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive e-learning content for our library.

As a Digital Designer, you will work closely with Instructional Design, Product Management, and Project Management teams to utilize cutting-edge e-learning tools and structured methodologies to create high-quality educational content that meets the needs of our diverse user-base.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing visually appealing course materials, multimedia elements, assessments, and activities using industry-standard software and digital design techniques.
  • Utilizing e-learning authoring tools to build innovative and accessible courses that prioritize the learner's experience.
  • Integrating multimedia elements such as graphics, motion-graphics, animation, video, and simulations to enhance the learning experience.
  • Ensuring content is accessible and responsive across multiple devices.
  • User Experience: designing with the user in mind and developing courses with intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in Digital Design, such as Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Animation, Game Design, Coding, or UX/Web Design.
  • Functional experience in Digital Design, preferably as an e-learning content creator with a portfolio showcasing course development, interactive e-learning projects, and/or multimedia content creation.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.) and an adept understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Media Encoder, Dreamweaver, etc).
  • Knowledge of learning design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for success in a cross-functional, multi-time zone, and remote-first team.
  • Creativity, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn and continuously improve.
