Job Description: Graduate Speech Pathologist Sydney

This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a Speech Pathologist in Sydney.

As a member of our team, you will be working across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.

You will provide clinical services to participants aged 0-65, working with clients who have varying complexity, communication and swallowing needs, over a period of months or even years.

The type of assessments and interventions you will provide include:

  • Communication Assessments
  • Swallowing and Paediatric Feeding (Dysphagia) Assessments
  • Mealtime Management Plan development and reviews
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication Assessments
  • Ongoing therapy

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth and ORS offices.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team in Sydney.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Registration or ability to become registered with SPA
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
