Your Opportunity
As a Speech Pathologist - Mobile Clinician with Plena Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in residential aged care facilities and the local community. You will be assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties in adults, providing high-quality mobile speech pathology services.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your calendar of appointments and working flexible hours to suit your needs.
- Assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties in adults.
- Providing telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention.
- Liaising with the national team of Speech Pathologists to ensure optimum care needs are met.
- Advocating for support for clients with communication difficulties.
- Working closely with organisational staff, support coordinators and colleagues to ensure optimum care needs are met.
- Providing consultative and educational support to clients, their families and colleagues.
Requirements
- A professional qualification in Speech Pathology with an active membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- An Australian driver's license and a reliable form of transport.
- The ability to travel nationally to support clients in regional locations.
