As a key member of our team, you will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment preparing and cooking international hot and cold meals in commercial quantities for our airline customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing high-quality meals for Business and Economy class passengers on various international and domestic flights.
- Implementing efficient stock control systems to minimize food wastage.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment at all times.
- Ensuring compliance with menu specifications, food safety regulations, and company policies.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher qualifications preferred, or equivalent level of experience.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through high-quality food.
- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen setting is an advantage but not essential.
- A clear National Police Check will be required due to the Aviation Services nature of this role.
