Job DescriptionThis role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Estimator or Carpenter looking to transition into estimating to join our dynamic Estimating team at our stunning new Metricon Robina Office on the Gold Coast. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting potential site issues regarding inner urban build areas;
- Ensuring production work is carried out efficiently and effectively;
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services, and processes to deal confidently with stakeholders;
- Fostering strong relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, tradespeople, agents, and contractors.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in residential estimating or quoting;
- Carpentry trade qualification, Associate Diploma in Building Construction, or equivalent construction knowledge;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to produce accurate building cost estimates using Estimating Software or Excel; and
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
