Job Title: Field Supervisor

The position of Field Supervisor is a critical role within our organization, responsible for coordinating site works and overseeing all construction aspects of wireless base stations.

This individual will play a key role in implementing site safety, environmental, and quality controls, as well as project/client specific requirements.

The successful candidate will coordinate and manage subcontractors and internal workforce teams to ensure objectives are met and work is planned to support the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of work processes and analysis of production methods and performance
  • Monitoring performance and reassessment of efficiency and quality
  • Understanding contractual obligations of the company and subcontractors
  • Clear communication of work practices, standards, and expectations to team members
  • Measurement and reporting on progress against project plans
  • Maintenance of strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Delivery of a service that meets the needs of relevant stakeholders
  • Communication with clients and team members on regular basis regarding progress and issues
  • Implementation of SH&E policy, procedures, and legislative requirements
  • Achievement of safety KPIs set by client, company, and project manager
  • Monitoring of workforce's performance to ensure project plans and milestones are met
Requirements:
  • Experience in similar position within Telco industry
  • Relevant Trade Qualification
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans
  • Understanding of Telstra Copper and Optical Fibre Network along with knowledge of Optus, Uecomm, and other third-party communication company standards
  • Relevant experience in managing subcontractors in construction site environment
  • Strong knowledge of client standards around civil construction
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Computer skills (excel, word, power point, etc.)
