Leadership Opportunity
The Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled Program Coordinator to lead the North Metro PEAC program.


About the Role
As a Program Coordinator, you will provide educational leadership to the PEAC team and develop and implement strategic plans to achieve student success.


Responsibilities

  • \
  • Lead the teaching and learning program for gifted and talented students in alignment with the Western Australian Curriculum general capabilities.\
  • Manage staff performance and development in accordance with the Public Sector Performance Management Standard and Departmental policy.\
  • Develop and implement strategies to support student achievement and well-being.\
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Education to provide educational leadership and support to the PEAC team.\
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and community groups.\\/ul>


Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised qualification in teaching and current registration to teach in Western Australia.\
  • Experience in leading educational programs and teams.\
  • Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.\
  • Ability to manage physical and financial resources effectively.\
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.\\/ul>
