About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a prestigious face-to-face national study, the Domestic Tourism Statistics study, funded by the Federal Government department of Austrade. You will be responsible for undertaking professional and accurate data collection, including observations and interviewing, of the public with neutrality in asking questions and gathering respondent responses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and gather insights through data collection and analysis
  • Undertake professional and accurate data collection, including observations and interviewing, of the public
  • Ask questions and gather respondent responses with neutrality
  • Engage with people from diverse and different backgrounds and experiences
  • Have market research interviewing experience or equivalent interviewing/customer engagement experience
  • Be professional, have a high level of integrity, and possess mature social skills
  • Be available to work 20+ hours per week, including weekdays and weekends
  • Hold a valid driver's license and access to a reliable, registered vehicle
  • Hold a National Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • Have fluent English language proficiency (spoken and written English)
  • Have a legal right to work in Australia

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $34.19 per hour
  • Reimbursement for job-related expenses, including application fees for required checks
