Regulatory Compliance Expert - Energy Sustainability

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regulatory Compliance Expert to join our Energy Sustainability Team. This role offers the chance to contribute to New South Wales' Net Zero Plan and be part of transformational projects that drive better energy outcomes for the people of NSW.

The successful candidate will work with a wide range of stakeholders to support the delivery of best practice regulatory compliance work, assessing scheme participant compliance against annual energy savings certificate targets and preparing publicly available guidance to support accreditation and compliance processes.

This is an ongoing role based in Central Sydney, with flexible working conditions and remote working options. If you thrive on analysing information, finding practical solutions, and are enthusiastic about contributing to a diverse and dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake analysis using a risk-based approach to help make decisions regarding regulatory and compliance related matters
  • Prepare and present written briefings to senior staff and the Tribunal, our decision maker
  • Support the effective administration of best practice regulatory and compliance programs and policies

About You:

  • Goal-oriented and motivated to learn, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing work priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience in managing workloads and meeting agreed deliverables
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or professional experience required for this role
