Job Opportunity: IT Asset Lifecycle Manager

The Operations and Technology teams collaborate to deliver strategic initiatives that enhance our business performance.

We are seeking a skilled IT Asset Lifecycle Manager to oversee the management of IT hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and optimisation of physical IT assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain asset records from procurement to decommissioning and disposal.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and service desk teams to ensure proper asset tagging, receipt, and deployment.
  • Monitor asset inventory levels, support asset audits, and assist with reconciliations.
  • Perform data quality checks and corrections in ServiceNow to ensure accuracy and completeness of asset records.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT Asset Management, preferably in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software asset lifecycle and inventory management principles.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices, particularly IT Asset Management and Configuration Management.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience working with ServiceNow, particularly Asset Management and CMDB modules.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data, and present clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
