Job Title: Senior Pharmacist Berri

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacist to lead the organisation, management, and operation of a designated pharmacy area within our hospital. In this pivotal role, you will provide a comprehensive range of high-level pharmacy services, exercising independent and autonomous judgement.

About the Role

As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of care through evidence-based practice, ensuring the highest standards of pharmacy service delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in patient care and contribute to our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert therapeutic advice to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals.
  • Implement strategies that promote the safe and cost-effective use of pharmaceuticals.
  • Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and support staff.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including medical staff, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Extensive hospital pharmacy experience, with leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
