About the Role: Supporting Individuals with Disabilities
Our Team Seeks a Dedicated Casual Support WorkerWe are seeking an exceptional individual to play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalised care and support tailored to their unique needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality support services to customers with disabilities.
- Assist clients in their daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and skill development.
- Promote community integration and support clients in accessing social and recreational activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans.
- Encourage independence and empower clients to achieve their personal goals.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Certificate III in Community Services or Equivalent is ideal; we will support you in obtaining it if necessary.
- A minimum of 6 months experience is required, although we offer buddy shifts for new team members to help them learn on the job.
- You should have a good level of fitness for manual handling.
- We require flexibility, including sleepovers, active nights (you must be able to work nights), and weekend day shifts.
- You must possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWSC) and a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- A current and valid CPR and First Aid certificate is also necessary.
- A full driver's licence is required.
- You should have valid work rights.
- Please note that you will need to complete the NDIS Quality, Safety & You module.
