**Job Overview:**

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in providing tax advice and compliance support to individuals, businesses, and corporates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and lodge returns across various entities
  • Deal with accounts and journalling across tax matters, including corporate, income tax, GST, FBT, payroll tax, withholding tax, and more
  • Keep and reconcile high-quality working papers for client matters
  • Provide supporting memoranda
  • Research and apply ATO rules
  • Directly communicate with clients of varying sizes

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a public practice tax accountant in Australia
  • Strong desire to learn and develop
  • Ambition to grow your income
  • Firm grasp of Australian tax fundamentals and accounting practices
  • Confidence with Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office
  • Desire to participate in, and lead, a team of professionals
  • Positive, personable manner when dealing with clients
