Senior Risk Analysis Specialist
This position is ideal for individuals with a background in Risk Analysis within the Insurance sector, providing an opportunity to shape the analytical framework during a pivotal time for the organization.
A remarkable opportunity has emerged within the Risk Analysis Team at Aviva. This role will facilitate the management of our risk exposures across various lines of business operated by UKGI on a global scale.
The Exposure Management Pricing and Insight (EP&I) team consists of technical experts across all commercial lines. This team plays a central role in numerous initiatives within Aviva, engaging with all UK and Global Business units, including GCS, SME, Digital, Claims, Risk Management, and Actuarial.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of exposure data utilizing both third-party and proprietary platforms to ensure data integrity, precision, and compliance with internal standards aligned with Aviva's Risk appetite. Communicate significant findings effectively to the relevant underwriters. Collaborate closely with underwriters to convey portfolio aggregations within each class and across the organization. Assist in the enhancement of Aviva's exposure management methodologies for non-modelled perils/territories and the refinement of existing techniques. Support the group rollup process and the associated reporting requirements for the Commercial division. Demonstrate a proven history of data auditing. You will perform data quality analytics and collaborate with underwriters to enhance the completeness, resolution, and appropriateness of critical data inputs.Required Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience in an Exposure Management team with a solid understanding of Insurance and Reinsurance. Practical knowledge of portfolio roll-up, implementation of control frameworks, MI design, reporting, and communication. Strong grasp of essential mathematical and statistical concepts, as well as Cat metrics such as PMLs and AALs. Experience working within a suitable control framework to ensure the reliable delivery of figures for reporting is desirable. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.Benefits:

Starting salary: London range of £50,000 to £75,000, National range of £40,000 to £50,000 (dependent on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
