A remarkable opportunity has emerged within the Risk Analysis Team at Aviva. This role will assist in managing our risk exposures across various business lines operated by UKGI on a global scale.
The Exposure Management Pricing and Insight (EP&I) team consists of technical experts across all commercial sectors. This team plays a crucial role in numerous initiatives within Aviva, engaging with all UK and Global Business units, including GCS, SME, Digital, Claims, Risk Management, and Actuarial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of exposure data utilizing both third-party and proprietary platforms, ensuring data integrity, precision, and compliance with internal standards aligned with Aviva's Risk appetite. Communicate any significant findings to the relevant underwriters effectively. Collaborate closely with underwriters to convey portfolio aggregations within each class and across the organization. Assist in the enhancement of Aviva's exposure management methodologies for non-modelled risks and territories, while improving existing strategies. Support the group rollup process and related reporting requirements for the Commercial division. Demonstrate a proven history of data auditing. You will perform data quality analytics and partner with underwriters to enhance the completeness, resolution, and appropriateness of essential data inputs.Required Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience in an Exposure Management team with a solid understanding of Insurance and Reinsurance. Practical knowledge of portfolio roll-up, implementing control frameworks, MI design, reporting, and communication. Strong grasp of key mathematical and statistical principles, including Cat metrics such as PMLs and AALs. Experience working within a robust control framework to ensure accurate reporting is desirable. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.Benefits:
