Youth Support Mentor Role">

Make a positive impact in the lives of young people by joining our team as a Youth Support Mentor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with at-risk youth and support them to achieve their goals.

This role involves building trusting relationships with young people, facilitating goal-focused programs and linking them with relevant services. You will also be responsible for advocating for client needs and participating in case planning and coordination meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trusting, supportive relationships with young people.
  • Facilitate goal-focused programs and link young people with relevant services.
  • Advocate for client needs with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in case planning and coordination meetings.
  • Support emotional wellbeing and counter negative peer influences.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with at-risk youth.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to the organisation's vision, mission and values.
  • Understanding of the issues facing people in regional areas.

What We Offer:

  • 44.58 p/hr + $10.12 p/hr regional allowance + super.

Full-time role working Monday to Friday (38 hours per week).
