About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation/Fleet Supervisor to join our team at Saint Louis University. As a key member of our Parking and Card Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation program, ensuring efficient shuttle routes, adequate driver coverage, and maximizing inventory for rental van needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the workflow of the Transportation program, including scheduling, coaching, and resolving issues with transportation employees.
- Coordinate and schedule University and Enterprise rental vans for University use, prepare trip packets, and respond to issues and accidents.
- Monitor the daily operations of the Saint Louis University shuttle service and act as liaison with 3rd party vendors to coordinate routes and hours.
- Maintain records of University-owned vans, coordinate emergency repairs, and assist with the development of Transportation policy and procedures.
- Verify accuracy of transportation rental/shuttle invoices and submit for payment.
Requirements
- Associate degree supplemented with two (2) years of related work experience.
- Valid class E Missouri driver's license or state equivalent.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to multitask, and excellent customer service skills.
