Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients to deliver high-quality designs and documentation for civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed technical drawings and sketches in alignment with project specifications
  • Prepare charts, tabulations, plans, and designs to support project requirements
  • Modify and update drawings based on client input and project changes
  • Contribute to the creation of project documentation, including specifications, reports, and technical guides
  • E nsure all drafts are completed with high attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, adhering to internal and external quality control processes
  • Order materials as required and ensure project specifications and regulations are met
  • Conduct site inspections when needed to collect data and verify the accuracy of designs
  • Coordinate with construction, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure smooth execution of projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Draftsperson in the civil or construction sector
  • In-depth understanding of Australian building codes and standards
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers, clients, and project teams
