You will champion transformative change by helping families reconnect and empower children to shape their future with therapeutic, culturally responsive care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure culturally responsive service delivery, focusing on First Nations and CALD families.
  • Apply strengths-based interventions to promote child safety, wellbeing, and reconnection with family.
  • Build strong relationships across services and facilitate effective collaborations to provide comprehensive support to families.
  • Develop and oversee practical, goal-oriented case plans and assessments that support long-term reunification.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood, or related Social Sciences, or extensive equivalent experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of South Australian child protection legislation, including the Aboriginal Child Placement Principle.
  • Proven capability in case management, including collaborative assessment, planning, and documentation.
  • Compliance with all necessary conditions, including current WWCC, NPC, and driver's license.
