Enhancing the lives of residents is at the heart of our mission, and we seek a highly skilled Lifestyle Coordinator to create engaging experiences that promote social interaction, independence, and overall wellbeing.

Job Description:

Lifestyle Coordinators play a pivotal role in our community by planning, organising, and leading various activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of residents. This involves ensuring their involvement and participation in social, recreational, and cultural events, thus fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement programmes that cater to the unique needs and preferences of residents, promoting their engagement and participation
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programmes, making adjustments as needed to enhance the quality of life for residents
  • Develop and deliver mental health and wellbeing initiatives that empower residents to make informed choices and maintain their independence
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (minimum)
  • Diversional Therapy Degree (highly desirable)
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Previous experience in an aged care setting
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, internet, and email communication
