Hyundai Rotem Company is a leading global provider of critical national infrastructure, with over 50 countries benefiting from their services.

The New Intercity Fleet (NIF) Project is a joint venture between Hyundai-Rotem, UGL and MEA. This project aims to deliver a fleet of new intercity trains for operation in the NSW electrified rail network.

This newly formed team is seeking an expert Technical Fault Response Specialist who will provide real-time assistance to maintenance and operations teams, contributing directly to fleet reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities include providing on-train technical expertise, assisting technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex faults related to ETCS / TCC / and train electronic systems.

To be successful in this role, you will have appropriate engineering qualifications and at least 5 years' experience in rollingstock/aerospace, operations, corrective, and preventative maintenance.

You will also possess strong applied knowledge of subsystem fault finding, excellent oral and communication skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing demands and handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.

You will contribute to technical investigations and FRACAS processes by providing detailed fault data, analysis, and reporting.

This position requires excellent planning skills to handle multiple tasks, set deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment.
