We are seeking a skilled midwifery care specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at Wollongong Private Hospital. As a registered midwife, you will work closely with experienced obstetricians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
The role involves working in the maternity unit where you will be part of a supportive and inclusive team that prides itself on its positive workplace environment. You will have the opportunity to work across the birth unit and ward, ensuring exceptional women-centred care before, during, and after pregnancy.
Skill Requirements:- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
- Minimum three (3) years' experience working as a midwife post-registration
- Experience in birth suite essential
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team as required
- Deliver high-quality patient care in line with the hospital's care values and strategic direction
- Perform duties under the guidance of department leaders and team members
