Job Opportunity in Brand Leadership

As a strategic brand professional, you will have the chance to champion and evolve our brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.

  • Lead strategic brand initiatives to enhance visibility and reputation.
  • Manage implementation of City Marketing Strategy from a brand perspective.
  • Develop tools, systems, and processes to support brand adoption and consistency.
  • Act as 'Brand Champion' to ensure adherence to brand guidelines across Council activities.
  • Collaborate with creative teams and agencies to deliver high-quality brand assets.
  • Evaluate brand performance through research and annual brand tracking studies.
  • Support city and destination marketing campaigns and contribute to long-term brand planning.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualification in branding, marketing, or related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in brand strategy development and implementation.
  • Proven ability to manage brand in complex environments.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, resource coordination, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence and educate stakeholders.
  • Experience working with brand and creative agencies.
  • High-level interpersonal skills and ability to build strong internal and external networks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
