Join Our Team as a Rates Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Rates Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing sale/transfer notices, calculating pensioner rebates, and issuing rates notices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sale/transfer notices in accordance with local government regulations
  • Calculate pensioner rebates based on eligibility criteria
  • Issue rates notices to property owners in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • Higher School Certificate level education or equivalent qualification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a small team environment
  • Strong database maintenance skills
  • Excellent customer communication skills
