About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Rates Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing sale/transfer notices, calculating pensioner rebates, and issuing rates notices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sale/transfer notices in accordance with local government regulations
- Calculate pensioner rebates based on eligibility criteria
- Issue rates notices to property owners in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements:
- Higher School Certificate level education or equivalent qualification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proven ability to work effectively in a small team environment
- Strong database maintenance skills
- Excellent customer communication skills
