Electrical Engineer Opportunity

The public sector is seeking a motivated student electrical engineer to contribute to real-world projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply engineering theory to practical projects in a dynamic, real-world environment.

This position involves assisting with the design, planning, and delivery of ITS, electrical, and infrastructure projects. You will also support asset data management, maintenance planning, and commissioning of new assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, planning, and delivery of ITS, electrical, and infrastructure projects.
  • Support asset data management, maintenance planning, and commissioning of new assets.
  • Provide technical input on electrical engineering aspects of ITS, traffic signals, road lighting, and related systems.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams and help deliver projects on time and to quality standards.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or dual-degree equivalent.
  • A clear communicator, both written and verbal, who can work well in a team setting.
  • Ability to apply asset management strategies, including refurbishment and maintenance planning.
