As a Hospital Pharmacist, you will provide leave and weekend coverage for our pharmacy team. This casual position offers a flexible work-life balance, allowing you to attend to personal matters while maintaining a fulfilling career.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.
- Dispensing and supplying medications and pharmacy products.
- Managing patient medication needs during inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharges.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure outstanding service to patients and clients.
- Providing support and education to patients, carers, and hospital staff.
- Advising on health promotion, disease prevention, and the proper use of medications.
- Weekdays: Up to 7.5-hour shifts (school hours possible)
- Saturdays: 4-hour shifts.
- Sundays: 3-hour shifts.
To be successful in this role, you will be an AHPRA-registered pharmacist with experience in an Australian pharmacy setting. You will have a team-focused mindset, a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, and strong communication skills to collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
We require that you possess:
- Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.
- Relevant experience working in an Australian pharmacy setting.
