About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at St. Andrew's Private War Memorial Hospital in Brisbane. As a casual Pharmacist, you will provide leave and weekend coverage for our pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation to ensure accurate and safe patient care.
  • Dispense and supply medications and pharmacy products, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Manage patient medication needs during inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharges, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, including allied health professionals and doctors, to ensure outstanding service to patients and clients.
  • Provide support and education to patients, carers, and hospital staff, promoting health promotion, disease prevention, and the proper use of medications.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will be an AHPRA-registered pharmacist with experience in an Australian pharmacy setting. You will have a team-focused mindset, a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, and strong communication skills to collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.

We require that you possess:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.
  • Relevant experience working in an Australian pharmacy setting.
