Fire Alarm Systems Technician Position
We are seeking a fire alarm systems technician to join our team. This role involves traveling to various locations and job sites to install or repair residential and commercial fire alarm systems, including locks, access control, CCTV, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel within the region to service, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems, identifying risks and providing solutions.
- Install new fire alarm systems, electronic locks, access control, CCTVs, and other equipment as part of a small team.
- Attend regular meetings and maintain equipment and restock vehicle supplies.
- Keep accurate logs of work performed and coordinate with co-workers, customers, builders, and office staff to meet workload goals.
Requirements
- Current low-voltage electrical license with industry experience.
- Knowledge of NFPA72 and NEC standards for fire alarm installation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and listening skills, and attention to detail.
