Job Title: Fire and Security Alarm Field Technician

This is a unique role where you will travel to various locations and job sites, installing or repairing residential and commercial fire and security systems.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Install or repair fire and security systems including locks of all types, access control, CCTV, and more.
  • Service, inspect and troubleshoot basic and complex fire and security alarm systems.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and maintain accurate logs of work completed at all times.
  • Communicate and coordinate with co-workers, customers, builders, and office staff to achieve daily workload goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

This position requires a current low-voltage electrical license and experience with commercial and residential fire and security installation or similar electronic products.

Detailed Job Requirements:
  1. Travel to various locations in Maine and New Hampshire and independently service, inspect and troubleshoot basic and complex fire and security alarm systems.
  2. Install new fire and security systems, electronic locks, access control systems, CCTVs, and more.
  3. Maintain appropriate equipment and restock vehicle and supplies as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Current low-voltage electrical license with industry experience.
  • Knowledge and Standards: Knowledge of NFPA72, NEC, and Industry standards for fire alarm installation.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and listening skills, and outstanding attention to detail.
