Enhancing Lives through Occupational Therapy

This role focuses on maximising independence, functional capacity and quality of life for individuals in various settings.
A key aspect of this position is conducting comprehensive assessments to develop tailored intervention strategies.
The successful candidate will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and work collaboratively with clients, families and a multidisciplinary team to create person-centred care plans.
They will also deliver individual and group therapy sessions to enhance daily living skills, cognitive abilities, mobility and self-care.
Providing education and support to clients, caregivers and support workers is another crucial element of this role.
Maintaining accurate client records and staying informed about the latest research and best practices are also essential responsibilities.
The position involves working collaboratively as part of a professional development program, which includes training, mentoring and continuing education opportunities.

Essential qualifications include a Degree in Occupational Therapy and current APHRA registration. A valid Australian driver's license is also required.
