Job Title: Full time Optometrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optometrist to join our team in Winton, Dorset. As an Optometrist with our practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality eye care services to patients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, be commercially aware and work well within a team; they should also be able to maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports as required.

Our practice is committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care and customer service. We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, where our staff can develop their skills and knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing comprehensive eye examinations, including tests for vision, glaucoma, and other conditions;
  • Prescribing medications and eyewear as necessary;
  • Providing guidance on eye health and preventative measures;
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing detailed reports;


Requirements:

• Degree in Optometry or equivalent;

• Registration with the General Optical Council (GOC);

• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to work well within a team and maintain accurate records;
