
Financial Records Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records. The primary objective of the position is to reduce days sales outstanding (DSO's) and mitigate bad/doubtful debts by collecting overdue accounts in a timely manner, ensuring professionalism throughout.
This position commands high responsibility, requiring demonstrated problem-solving, analytical and reconciliation skills, as well as sound judgment.
Day-to-day duties are carried out with minimal supervision, allowing for independence and autonomy in decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months prior experience working in an accounting or finance role, with intermediate Excel skills and strong communication abilities.
The following requirements must be met:
- Minimum 12 months prior experience working as an accounting officer
- Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables etc.)
- Strong communication skills
- Prior experience managing large ledgers, volumes and organizations is beneficial
- Proficient in Excel, Oracle, Google Suite and GSheets
