This role involves working closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to provide tailored services and promote inclusive employment practices.
As an Employment Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing client needs and developing personalized employment plans.
- Providing vocational profiling, job search assistance, resume preparation, and interview coaching.
- Building strong relationships with local employers to create job opportunities and promote workplace diversity.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills and QualificationsTo succeed as an Employment Consultant, you will need:
- A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification (Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field).
- Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
- Strong business development skills and ability to build local employer connections.
- Current driver's license and vehicle ownership.
- Ability to obtain all required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check).
