Employment Consultant Role

Deliver high-impact employment support to individuals with mental health disabilities, empowering them to achieve their career goals and improve overall wellbeing.

This role involves working closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to provide tailored services and promote inclusive employment practices.

As an Employment Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing client needs and developing personalized employment plans.
  • Providing vocational profiling, job search assistance, resume preparation, and interview coaching.
  • Building strong relationships with local employers to create job opportunities and promote workplace diversity.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as an Employment Consultant, you will need:

  • A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification (Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field).
  • Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
  • Strong business development skills and ability to build local employer connections.
  • Current driver's license and vehicle ownership.
  • Ability to obtain all required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check).
