The Alfred is seeking a registered nurse to transition into mental health nursing with support and training. This position offers a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment, innovative mental health program, professional development opportunities and regular study days.
About the Role- This role requires a high performer who is consumer-focused, a team player, and motivated and enthusiastic.
- You will be working in a dynamic environment, supporting individuals with severe mental illness residing in Melbourne's Inner South Eastern area.
- Develop skills in risk assessment, mental state assessment, care planning and knowledge of Mental Health nursing care and practice.
- Work as part of a dedicated Clinical Educator to develop Mental Health Nursing knowledge and skills.
- Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse
