This is a high-profile Engineering and Operations Manager role at one of the leading companies in Australia, JLL. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial part in shaping the company's growth and success.

About the Role: You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to engineering services operations, focusing on energy sustainability, building commissioning, and operational improvements. This includes managing property services, conducting daily operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant statutory authorities and good engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and good engineering practices in relation to maintenance of the property structure, façade, fittings, finishes, and services.
  • Conduct effective and efficient management of all property services and other works required to be carried out within the properties.
  • Manage and operate the property in a manner that continuously improves performance and reduces environmental effects.
  • Achieve sustainability KPIs set in consultation with property owners on an annual basis.
  • Management, training, and delegation of duties to Property Services Supervisors.
  • Participate in the EHS Leadership Team.
  • In consultation with the management team, prepare annual property operations and capital works budgets and monitor and update budgets on a quarterly basis.
  • Delivery of all Capital Works projects on program and budget.

About You: To succeed in this role, you will need experience managing high-quality office assets with a customer-centric mindset. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interact confidently and effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Managing teams and projects with strong knowledge related to building systems and operations is required, as well as an understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
