Engineering Project Leader Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Leader to oversee engineering and design aspects of mineral processing projects.

This key role will suit an EPCM experienced engineering leader with a successful track record of technical leadership, enabling team performance and the ability to communicate technical solutions across diverse internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in mineral processing principles, technologies, and equipment, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Furthermore, they should have experience in managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion, with a focus on safety, technical quality, and client satisfaction.

About the Job
  • Manage and oversee engineering and design aspects of mineral processing engineering projects.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Be responsible for technical approval and sign-off of the project's engineering and design.
  • Collaborate with Functional Managers to ensure positive project outcomes from a technical and schedule perspective.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and deliver customized solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
About You
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Extensive experience with discipline engineering within a mineral processing EPCM environment, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
