Workshop Manager Job Description

Job Overview:

As a Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art collision repair workshop. You will be responsible for managing and motivating a large team to deliver high-quality repairs on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a large team to achieve high-quality results.
  • Process vehicles efficiently and safely to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate the ordering and receipting of parts, paint, and consumables.
  • Oversee the repair process to guarantee quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet productivity targets and customer expectations through effective production management.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Assist with housekeeping and maintenance of the workshop.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the collision repair industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
  • Strong organisational skills and task delegation capabilities.
