Culinary Team Member

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Commis Chef to join our team in the main production kitchen.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about creating delicious dishes and eager to build their culinary career.
- The successful candidate will assist with daily kitchen operations, developing cookery skills and creativity.
This position involves producing high-quality products, maintaining equipment and a clean hygienic kitchen environment.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Consistent quality product delivery
- Maintaining kitchen equipment and cleanliness
- Rotating stock and minimizing waste
- Following directions from senior chefs and working collaboratively as a team member
- Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety policies
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Full availability and flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- A Certificate 3 in Cookery qualification is essential
- Developed knife skills and cookery techniques
- Genuine passion for food and cooking, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced professional kitchen environment with efficiency, organization, and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills and ability to follow direction
- Excellent personal presentation
