Youth Psychosis Specialist

We are seeking a Clinician to join our team and provide essential support to young people experiencing symptoms of psychosis.
The successful applicant will work closely with the headspace team to deliver youth-friendly, family-inclusive, culturally-appropriate services.
Key responsibilities include providing professional therapeutic interventions, support services to young people and their families, and maintaining current data standards and clinical records.
Requirements:
- Approved tertiary qualification (Allied Health) and registration with the relevant regulatory body.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in youth mental health.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with young people and their families, providing empathetic and supportive care.
- Knowledge and experience in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions and clinical case management.
A strong understanding of youth mental health issues, including psychosis and co-occurring disorders, is essential. Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be an advantage.
