About headspace
headspace are a busy and innovative youth mental health service providing a variety of mental health, medical, sexual and other health related services as well as vocational, functional groups and social services to young people aged 12 to 25 years and their families.
About the Opportunity
As Program Manager, you'll oversee the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based mental health care for young people aged 12–25 and their families. You'll lead and support multidisciplinary teams across headspace Darwin and headspace Palmerston, ensuring services are delivered in line with the Australian Early Psychosis Program (AEPP) and headspace's best practice model. Working closely with senior clinical and operational leaders, you'll help shape a responsive, youth-focused service that makes a real difference in the lives of young people.
What we are looking for:
- An approved tertiary qualification (Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Registered Nurse)
- An effective leader with (minimum 5 years) experience providing leadership to multidisciplinary teams within a clinical mental health setting.
- A passion for youth mental health and keen interest in service improvement, access, and cultural safety of mental health services
- Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations.
