About the Role

We are seeking a Psychologist looking for a career change as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our dynamic team in Sydney. As a specialist, you will assess, plan, organise, and participate in workplace rehabilitative programs to help clients achieve positive return to work outcomes.

You will see a range of clients, predominantly NSW Worker's Compensation, with scope for working in Life Insurance, Comcare (including DVA) and CTP scheme. Your expertise will be utilised to assess the worker's transferable skills and potential through various means, including early intervention assessments, home assessments, worksite assessments, job task analyses, ergonomic assessments, and case management services.

Liaising with stakeholders, including insurance companies, medical practitioners, employers, and employees, will be an essential part of your role. You will also contact employers to enquire about potential jobs and marketing the WorkSafe Incentive Scheme for Employers to organisations.

This is a full-time position, however, part-time at 4 days per week may also be considered.

About You

We are seeking a qualified Psychologist with relevant tertiary qualifications, AHPRA registration, and previous industry experience in Occupational Rehabilitation, although this is not essential. You will possess outstanding communication and networking skills, excellent writing skills, and experience writing reports. Additionally, you should be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and as part of a team.

Australian driver's licence and eligibility to work permanently in Australia are required.
