Job Description:

  • Create cost-effective and optimized transportation plans to ensure efficient delivery of goods.
  • Manage transportation requirements in alignment with vendor agreements to guarantee seamless logistics.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of transportation activities for performance analysis and customer notification.
  • Organize inter-company equipment transportation, utilizing backloads and consolidated loads to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate failures when necessary to maintain high standards.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and cost reallocations efficiently and accurately document all relevant information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation planning.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft tools and ERP systems.
  • Strong customer focus with a sense of urgency for creative solutions.
  • Attention to detail with acute accuracy in work.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
  • Collaborative, decisive, and result-oriented interpersonal skills.
  • Self-management skills with the ability to direct and manage oneself.
