The Workshop Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a team, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This leadership role combines customer service excellence and operational efficiency, requiring high standards and a focus on effective site management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily activities of the team and ensure that all work is performed safely.
  • Maintain staff performance by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees as needed.
  • Monitor and promote Health, Safety, Environment, Security, and Quality (HSES & QA) programs.
  • Control workflow to minimize downtime and maximize output.
  • Anticipate customer needs and identify opportunities to enhance the service experience.
  • Establish and maintain effective work systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of proven experience in workshop management within a fleet or retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Inventory management, procurement, and stock control experience.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • A flexible approach to business commitments.
