We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Capacity and Capability Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the Country Fire Authority's (CFA) mission to protect lives and property.
Key responsibilities- Design and implement training programs to support state-wide community education by CFA members.
- Oversee the Community Engagement Capability Framework, ensuring frontline members are trained for community safety work, in collaboration with regional teams.
- Co-develop and coordinate statewide forums and training to enhance CFA members' community engagement skills.
- Partner with other CFA departments to deliver capability-building initiatives.
- Relevant experience in community engagement, training design and delivery, and facilitation.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders to address complex issues through consultation and collaboration.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in designing, developing and delivering effective and accessible training programs, face to face and online.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to represent CFA at external forums.
- Demonstrated ability to collate, analyse and report on information to inform program planning and delivery.
- Demonstrated project management capability, with a proven ability to effectively lead all aspects of a project from start to finish.
