This is a key role for delivering exceptional post-sales support and solutions to customers.
The Customer Service Director oversees departmental results for support operations through successful direction of line managers and their staff within the department. The director ensures high levels of customer satisfaction by establishing quality and productivity guidelines, driving improvement efforts, and understanding strategies of the Oracle Support Services organization.
Key responsibilities include translating departmental goals into performance objectives for each line manager, measuring departmental and individual performance against plan, and approving all personnel decisions, including hiring, promotion, transfer, compensation, and disciplinary action.
In addition, you will assist in developing short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives, interact with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met, and influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.
