Regional Health, Safety and Environment Manager

Description:

This is a challenging role that involves leading the implementation of health, safety and environmental management systems across multiple projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety and environmental engineering or a related field. They will have experience in managing and implementing ES&H programs and protocols, as well as developing and conducting training programs.

They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing ES&H programs and protocols
  • Conducting site assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
  • Providing technical support to project teams on ES&H issues
  • Coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with ES&H requirements

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as health, safety and environmental engineering or a related discipline. They will also have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
