Job Title: Senior ManagerAbout the Role

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Senior Manager to join our Corporate Tax team in Sydney.

This role is based in Warrang - Sydney and offers flexibility with reduced hours. We welcome discussions on potential arrangements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide Australian income tax advisory and compliance services to clients across banking, wealth management, insurance, and superannuation sectors.
  • Advise a leading client list on complex tax matters while managing and developing a portfolio of financial services clients, leading preparation and review of income tax compliance, provisions, and tax advice, and fostering strong relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead and coach a team to ensure quality delivery of tax services, build internal stakeholder relationships to identify growth opportunities, and play a key role in implementing the growth strategy.
Requirements
  • Australian corporate income tax or fund tax experience, ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm, mid-tier accounting firm, corporate business (including superannuation, insurance, banking, and wealth and asset management) – 8+ years of experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex engagements with strong influencing skills to drive optimal outcomes, coupled with excellent client-facing skills to lead meetings, build networks, and grow accounts, while articulating complex technical information into clear recommendations and effectively leading and mentoring staff as a strong team player.
  • Completed CA qualifications or equivalent.
