Master Culinary Expert

Ittehad Brothers Pty Ltd, a renowned Indian and Arab cuisine specialist, is seeking a highly skilled Master Culinary Expert to elevate its kitchen team. This rewarding role offers a competitive salary of $70K to $80k plus super.

To be successful in this position, applicants must possess:

• A strong background in Commercial Cookery / Kitchen Management with a relevant Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Certificate IV qualification
• A minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent experience of 3 years in a similar role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing food preparation, dish presentations, and creating innovative food formats. Key responsibilities include:

• Cooking and preparing mains, entrées, and side items, as well as preparing signature dishes and dietary specific food for patrons
• Selecting and planning recipes, developing new combinations based on customer trends and seasonal produce
• Estimating food consumption and requisitioning supplies for lunches, dinners, and functions
• Receiving and examining supplies and stock, conducting inventory control for quality control purposes
• Supervising and training new kitchen staff in cooking, plating, and presentation
• Ensuring sanitation, food, and hygiene regulations compliance by the kitchen staff
• Recommending changes to the menu and daily specials to management
