At Ittehad Brothers Pty Ltd, trading as Pista House, we specialise in delivering exceptional Indian and Arab cuisine experiences. To further elevate our culinary offerings, we seek a skilled Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.

The role carries a competitive salary of $70K-$80K plus superannuation benefits.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management, or equivalent experience;
• A minimum of 2 years of industry experience or 3 years of equivalent experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to take their culinary career to the next level by:

• Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and menu planning;
• Cooking mains, entrées, and side dishes, and preparing signature and dietary-specific options;
• Selecting recipes, creating new combinations, and staying up-to-date with customer trends and seasonal produce;
• Estimating food consumption and managing inventory control;
• Receiving and inspecting supplies and ensuring quality control;
• Training and supervising new kitchen staff;
• Maintaining high standards of sanitation, hygiene, and compliance with regulations.
