Job Title: Senior Project Manager

The Northern Territory Government is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the Engineering Services team at Tennant Creek Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique and authentic outback town, offering a real outback lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality results by providing leadership and management to the Engineering Services team to execute repairs and maintenance programs and assigned minor works and capital works projects.
  • Oversee critical building assets and their electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical engineering systems essential to medical services delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership and management experience with ability to motivate diverse teams and manage pressure and change.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including consultation and collaboration with colleagues, external clients, community, and industry representatives.
  • Well-developed information technology skills.
  • Current driver's license, Ochre Card, White Card, and High-Risk Work License for Standard Boiler Operations or ability to obtain.
  • High-level knowledge of building industry, design, construction, and maintenance techniques.
  • Experience and knowledge in contract administration and management, including supervision and monitoring of contract conditions.
